FastpitchPlaybook
The recruiting toolkit I wish existed when I started.
1,811 verified softball coach contacts across Division I and Division II. A data-driven school match system. The complete email campaign kit. Built by a travel ball parent who spent a career running sales pipelines. $39. Less than one pitching lesson.
Founding price. Goes to $59 when the founding window closes.
Recruiting is a second job nobody trained you for.
Fifty schools. Five hundred coach emails to find, verify, and manage. Follow-ups to remember, questionnaires to track, camps to research, NCAA rules that half the internet gets wrong. The big recruiting services will do it for four figures, quoted on a sales call, with a hard pitch attached. Most families end up where I did instead: a homemade spreadsheet, twenty browser tabs, and the constant feeling of doing it slightly wrong.
I spent months building the system I couldn't buy. This is it, cleaned up so you don't have to build it twice.
Everything in the box. Nothing hidden behind a call.
The Coach Contact Directory. 1,811 coaching staff contacts covering 581 of the 582 NCAA Division I and Division II softball programs: head coaches, assistants, recruiting coordinators, and operations staff, with published email where the school lists one and the staff directory link where it doesn't. Every row was read from the school's own athletics website and carries its verification date. (The 582nd program currently lists its head coach as TBA on its own site. When they hire one, the refresh will catch it. That is the level of honesty this list runs on.)

The Email Campaign Kit. Five templates covering the whole cycle: the cold intro, a six-touch follow-up sequence that works in any month of the year, the camp pre-email, the post-camp thank-you, and the questionnaire response. Each one comes with the reasoning behind every structural choice, the mistakes it prevents, and a voice rule that matters: these read like a high schooler wrote them, because coaches can tell when a parent or an app did.

The Campaign Tracker. A pipeline spreadsheet built the way sales teams manage hundreds of open conversations: stages from first contact through offer, follow-up dates, open tracking, a questionnaire log, and an offer comparison tab. Managing 40 schools from memory is how touches get missed.

Three cheat sheets.
- NCAA Recruiting Contact Rules, quoted from the actual NCAA manuals and bylaws with a citation on every claim. The most repeated date on commercial recruiting sites is wrong for softball. This sheet cites the rule that says so.
- The Highlight Video Checklist: what survives a coach's 30-second screen, and the five-question self-test before anything ships.
- Email Tracking: how to know if coaches are opening your emails using free tools, and how to read that signal without fooling yourself.
Price: $39 founding. $59 after the founding window.
Founding buyers get the next quarterly directory refresh free, including the Division II and Division III expansions as they land.
When we say verified, here is exactly what we mean.
Every contact in the directory was read from the school's own athletics website on the date stamped in its row. Not scraped from a stale database, not guessed from a name and a domain, not copied from another list. Where a school publishes no email, the row says so and gives you the staff directory link instead of a made-up address. Coaching staffs change constantly, which is why every row carries its date and why the directory gets refreshed.
We apply the same standard to everything else. The NCAA rules sheet cites the bylaw for every claim. The sample match report shows you the real output before you spend a dollar. If we can't verify something, it isn't in the product.
The School Match Report: your athlete's list, built for your athlete.
The hardest question in recruiting is the first one: which schools? The honest answer depends on your athlete's grades, your budget, your geography, and the level she actually plays at, which is why generic "top schools for softball" lists are useless.
The Match Report starts with an intake form about your athlete and your family's priorities. Within 48 hours you get a tiered list of 40 to 60 programs built from the same data system behind the toolkit: every NCAA softball program cross-referenced with federal academic data and official D1 RPI rankings, filtered by your criteria, and sorted into reach, target, and likely tiers with a written rationale for every school. It tells you which read drove each tier, the classroom or the program, and it says plainly when your filters produce a thin list instead of padding it.

$149. Each report gets a human review pass before it ships.
Small print: tiers reflect academic fit and program competitiveness. No one can promise recruitment, and we don't.

Built by a parent who does this for a living. The pipeline part, anyway.
I've spent 15 years running revenue operations for software companies: building the systems sales teams use to manage hundreds of open conversations without dropping any. When my own family started the recruiting process, I recognized the problem immediately. Recruiting is a pipeline. Forty schools, six touches each, rules about timing, and a scoreboard that only counts follow-through.
So I built the same machinery I build professionally: a verified contact database, a sequenced outreach system, a tracker, and a data model for matching schools to an athlete. FastpitchPlaybook is that system, packaged for the next family.
Read this before you buy.
This is not a recruiting service. Nobody here calls coaches for you. The athlete does the outreach, which is how coaches prefer it anyway.
No manufactured success stories. You will never see a claim here that a toolkit gets athletes recruited. Athletes get recruited. We sell the system, the data, and your hours back.
No subscription, no upsell call, no "recruiting advisor" who is actually a salesperson. You buy a folder of tools. You own it.
The directory will slowly go stale, because coaching staffs change. Every contact is dated so you can see exactly how fresh it is, and refreshes are published quarterly.
If that honesty reads better to you than a promise, this was built for you.
Questions
Is this only for D1?
No. The coach directory covers Division I and Division II today, 581 of 582 programs. The match report covers all 978 NCAA softball programs across D1, D2, and D3. The templates, tracker, and cheat sheets apply to every division, and the NCAA rules sheet covers all three separately. The D3 directory expansion is next, and founding buyers get it free with the refresh.
My daughter is a freshman/sophomore. Is it too early?
No, and this is the most misunderstood part of recruiting. D1 coaches can't respond before September 1 of junior year, but D2 and D3 coaches can reply at any age, and the rules sheet explains how to use that window. Starting early with the right expectations beats starting late in a panic.
What if a coach email bounces?
Every row carries the school's staff directory link as the fallback, plus its verification date. Staffs turn over 20 to 30 percent a year. That's the industry, not the list, and it's why we date everything.
Is this a subscription?
No. $39 once for the toolkit, $149 once per match report.
Refunds?
30-day, no-questions refund on the toolkit. Match Reports are custom work and non-refundable once delivered, but if something in yours is wrong, we fix it.
Baseball? Other sports?
Softball only, on purpose. The data, the rules sheet, and the templates are all sport-specific, and that's the point.
